Delete your Virt Remote account

In-app deletion

Virt Remote users can delete their account in the app from the account menu by choosing Delete account and confirming the action.

Deletion request by email

If you cannot access the app, email the Virt support team at thevirtproject@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Virt Remote account and include "Account deletion request" in the subject. We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership before processing the request.

What deletion does

Deleting an account removes login credentials, revokes active sessions and refresh tokens, removes device notification tokens, removes Virt contact relationships, and anonymizes the account record.

What may be retained

Some shared records, such as messages, call/session history, reports, and media records, may remain associated with an anonymized deleted-account identifier where needed for safety, security, backups, legal reasons, or service records.
